At Southmoor Dental Group, we offer a way to restore an exisitng dental implant.
A dental implant is a titanium screw that is placed into the jawbone to act as a natural tooth. A single crown, fixed bridge or dentures can be constructed to fit over the implant to function in the same manner as their natural tooth/teeth. When a patient is missing all of their teeth and having a difficult time wearing dentures, placing dental implants can be a better solution. Placing dental implants also preserve the jawbone from further deterioration. Not all patients are candidates for dental implants. Additional x-rays and examination will be needed.
